With over twenty years of experience as a teaching artist and music educator, I have guided children in music reading and assisted young adults through clinics and masterclasses to enhance their musical skills.

 

In my roles as Chief Music Education Officer and Vice President of Education at the Los Angeles County Music Center and the Los Angeles Master Chorale, I developed and produced High School Choir Festivals at Walt Disney Concert Hall, providing unique experiences for high school singers throughout greater Los Angeles.

 

These festivals featured guest artists such as the prolific composer Eric Whitacre and renowned children's chorus leaders—Francisco Núñez from the Young People's Chorus of New York City and Josephine Lee from Uniting Voices Chicago.

 

Under my leadership, the Los Angeles Master Chorale's "Voices Within" and the "Oratorio Project" have earned several prestigious awards for their music education programs.

 

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I created "Music Maker," an at-home music program for the Master Chorale, to ensure that children could continue to engage with music despite isolation.
